It had never been done before.

Against the advice of experts, a team of pilots set out to be first to paraglide the world's most iconic meteorological phenomena, Australia's Morning Glory wave cloud.

At 1000 kilometers long and traveling 65 kilometers an hour, these intense wave clouds hide powerful updrafts and deadly downdrafts. Paramotorists positioned themselves on the front of the cloud in hopes of soaring the lift, like a surfer riding the biggest wave in the sky.

Experts told them it couldn't be done. But the team could not be deterred. This is the story of their effort, the good, bad, and sometimes the ugly.

In spite of many roadblocks, they were Bound for Glory.
