Join me for a respite from the cold without getting on an airplane.
There will be a bunch of ultralighters, some light sport aircraft folks
and even some paramotor folks at the annual seminar in Springfield, IL.
Roy Beisswenger, publisher of Powered Sport Flying Magazine an host
of the Powered Sport Flying radio show will be there along with
many others who have gear. Michael Mixer will have a paramotor in the
expansive lobby but, alas, there's not enough room for indoor flying.
That's something I'd love to do just once in my life. Anyone have any
ideas? It's a one-day deal, Saturday Feb 26, 2011, from 8am to 5pm and
the price is right: free. Raffle tickets are sold to help recoup some of
the expenses of putting it on. The program is:
